Longtime KTLA Entertainment Reporter, Sam Rubin Dies at 64

Sam Rubin, a name synonymous with entertainment journalism in Los Angeles, passed away at the age of 64 on May 10, 2024. Born Samuel Rubinstein in San Diego, California, Rubin’s career spanned over three decades, during which he became a beloved figure on the KTLA Morning News. He also contributed as a correspondent for Reelz production’s Hollywood Dailies.

Rubin was renowned for his insightful interviews with Hollywood’s elite, having conversed with icons such as Tom Hanks, Mel Gibson, and Halle Berry.
