Kimber Lee’s Pre-Trial Hearing On DUI Charges Delayed

Kimber Lee, the former WWE and Impact Wrestling star, recently faced a significant legal hurdle as her pre-trial hearing on DUI charges was postponed. This delay provides Lee with additional time to prepare for the upcoming court proceedings, which are now rescheduled for February 6th, 2024. The charges against Lee are serious, including DUI, resisting an officer with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer, all stemming from an incident that occurred on May 11th, 2023.

The arrest took place after an officer observed Lee’s vehicle stopped on a road, facing the wrong way. During the ensuing traffic stop, her car almost collided with a guardrail before coming to a halt in a shopping center parking lot. According to the police report, Lee, who was behind the wheel, appeared to be slurring her words and seemed confused about why she had been stopped. The situation escalated when Lee allegedly tried to leave the scene multiple times and resisted arrest. She reportedly struck and kicked the officer, which led to the additional charge of battery on a law enforcement officer.

Further complicating matters, Lee’s blood alcohol level was recorded at 0.14, well above Florida’s legal limit of 0.08. She also allegedly refused to provide a second sample for testing. Despite these charges, Lee has pleaded not guilty to all counts. Her plea was entered on July 7th.

Lee’s legal team requested the postponement of the pre-trial hearing to arrange depositions, with the arresting officer set to give one on January 11th. This development in Kimber Lee’s case is a critical juncture in her legal battle, as the outcome could have significant implications for her future.
